About Us

Our Story

Born from a family of restaurateurs in Maputo, Head Chef Nikita Vipra and Manager Taiibi Tucci brought Bel Piatto to Kalk Bay – Obsessed with flavour, plating, and that first hit of aroma.

Browse breakfast and toasties, coastal small plates, pasta, and mains. Fresh line fish when the boats land. Melanzane and peri-peri half chicken are staples.

A truly fabulous little restaurant nestled in Kalk bay. The food and service were impeccable, with the manager providing suggestions to visit, such as a local gin distillery.
